CLUB DESCRIPTION:

DIAMONDS CABARET is a PRIVATE CLUB, owned and operated by NL CORP, which provides our MEMBERS the opportunity to EXERCISE constitutionally protected FIRST AMENDMENT rights to display and view ARTISTIC ADULT ENTERTAINMENT in an exclusive, private atmosphere.

MISSION STATEMENT:

DIAMONDS CABARET strives to promote and support the constitutionally protected FIRST AMENDMENT right of FREE EXPRESSION, including the display and viewing of ARTISTIC ADULT ENTERTAINMENT.

DIAMONDS CABARET strives to educate our PRIVATE CLUB MEMBERS on, and promote community awareness of, all FIRST AMENDMENT rights, specifically issues associated with PROTECTED FREE EXPRESSION.

DIAMONDS CABARET supports various FIRST AMENDMENT activities and FREE EXPRESSION within the community at large, as well as, actively participating in various charitable and civic activities throughout the State of Ohio.

MEMBERSHIP:

1. 1.       CRITERIA

 

DIAMONDS CABARET practices selectivity in admitting new members.  All members must meet the following requirements before becoming eligible for permanent membership status:

 

1. MEMBERS must be 18 or more years of age.
2. MEMBERS must provide a valid driver license or government issued identification.
3. MEMBERS must not have been convicted of a felony involving sexual misconduct of any nature in any state or foreign country.
4. MEMBERS must strictly adhere to the club’s alcohol policies and all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations regarding the consumption of alcoholic beverages.
5. MEMBERS must follow all club rules during their temporary membership period.
6. MEMBERS must demonstrate general good character and respect for other club members and the community.
7. MEMBERS must demonstrate their belief in and commitment to the FREE EXERCISE rights protected and guaranteed by the FIRST AMENDMENT.
8. MEMBERS must visit the club on at least two occasions during their temporary membership period.
9. MEMBERS must have their membership application approved by at least 75% of current voting club members.
10. MEMBERS must take a membership oath and pay membership fees.

I AGREE TO LIVE MY LIFE IN A MANNER THAT DEMONSTRATES MY BELIEF IN AND COMMITMENT TO THE RIGHTS GUARANTEED BY THE FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION, SPECIFICALLY THOSE PROTECTING OUR RIGHT TO FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION.  I AGREE TO EDUCATE MYSELF ON FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHTS AND ISSUES AND TO SHARE MY KNOWLEDGE WITH MEMBERS OF THE GENERAL COMMUNITY.  I PLEDGE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE OPERATION OF DIAMONDS CABARET AS A PRIVATE CLUB BY ATTENDING MEMBERSHIP MEETINGS, ACTIVITIES, AND EVENTS WHENEVER MY SCHEDULE PERMITS.  I FURTHER AGREE TO PROTECT THE PRIVACY RIGHTS OF MY FELLOW DIAMONDS CABARET MEMBERS AND DIAMONDS CABARET AS A WHOLE BY KEEPING ALL PRIVATE CLUB-RELATED INFORMATION CONFIDENTIAL.

 

1. 3.       CLASSES AND FEES

 

TEMPORARY MEMBERSHIP:

 

1. Temporary Membership consists of a sixty (60) day probationary period.
2. Temporary Membership Fee is $10
3. Temporary Members must come to the club twice (2) during this sixty (60) day probationary period to become eligible for Permanent Membership status.
4. Temporary Members must meet all membership eligibility criteria under the MEMBERSHIP section and be approved by at least 75% of the current club members before Permanent Membership status and benefits will be conferred upon them.
5. In the event that your membership application is rejected and you later become eligible for Membership status, a $10 reapplication fee will apply.
6. TEMPORARY MEMBERSHIP CLUB FEES:
   1. Monday through Thursday:

Members between 18 and 21                    $10

Members 21 and older                             $6

1. Friday and Saturday:

Female members                                  $25

Male members between 18 and 21         $20

Male members 21 and older                   $15

1. Sunday: Member Appreciation Night

New members          $5 for a 60-day Temporary Membership

Existing members     $0
PERMANENT MEMBERSHIP:

1. Permanent Membership is for a period of 1 year.
2. Permanent Membership Fee is $50 annually-This may be paid in one payment of $50 on the first visit to the club following acceptance to permanent status or divided into 5 installments of $10.
3. PERMANENT MEMBERSHIP CLUB FEES:
   1. Monday through Thursday:

Members between 18 and 21                    $10

Members 21 and older                                  $6

1. Friday and Saturday:

Female members                                            $25

Male members between 18 and 21         $20

Male members 21 and older                       $15

1. Sunday: Member Appreciation Night

Members          $0

PLATINUM MEMBERSHIP:

1. By invitation only.

 

MEMBERSHIP MEETINGS AND VOTING RIGHTS

 

1. 1.       MEMBERSHIP MEETINGS: DIAMONDS CABARET permanent members have substantial control over the membership and operation of DIAMONDS CABARET as a PRIVATE CLUB; therefore, all PERMANENT MEMBERS are invited to attend monthly membership meetings.

WHO MAY ATTEND: Membership Meetings are open to PERMANENT MEMBERS only.

WHEN ARE MEETINGS HELD: Membership Meetings are held on the first Monday of each month at 6 p.m. on the DIAMONDS CABARET premises.

PURPOSE: To allow our PERMANENT MEMBERS to vote on the admission of all new permanent membership candidates, food and beverage services, entertainment, club policies, and club operation.

1. 2.       ABSENTEE POLICY:

 

Any PERMANENT MEMBER who is unable to attend a meeting may vote via absentee ballot by submitting their ballot to any hostess.  Absentee ballots will be available 72 hours prior to the date and time of the membership meeting and must be submitted prior to the close of the meeting.

 

1. 3.       INSPECTION OF PERMANENT MEMBERSHIP APPLICATIONS

 

Any DIAMONDS CABARET PERMANENT MEMBER may inspect the applications of all TEMPORARY MEMBERS who have met the applicable PERMANENT MEMBERSHIP criteria 72 hours prior to the membership meeting during which those applications will be voted on for determination of PERMANENT MEMBERSHIP.

ALCOHOL POLICY:

1. 1.       DIAMONDS CABARET, as a benefit of membership in our PRIVATE CLUB, permits any TEMPORARY or PERMANENT MEMBER, age 21 or older, to bring their own lawfully purchased alcoholic beverages into the club and consume them while on the premises.

 

1. 2.       DIAMONDS CABARET offers our TEMPORARY and PERMANENT MEMBERS complimentary containers and ice in order to store and cool their own alcoholic beverages while on the club premises.

 

1. 3.       DIAMONDS CABARET charges NO FEES for the possession and/or consumption of any TEMPORARY or PERMANENT MEMBER’S own alcoholic beverages within the club premises.

 

1. 4.       Any alcoholic beverages not consumed and/or left behind by any MEMBER will be disposed of.  Under no circumstances can any alcoholic beverages be stored on the premises.  So long as otherwise permitted by law, MEMBERS may remove their own unopened containers of alcoholic beverages from the premises.

 

1. 5.       DIAMONDS CABARET strictly prohibits the possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages on club premises by any TEMPORARY or PERMANENT MEMBER who is under the age of 21.  As a condition of TEMPORARY or PERMANENT MEMBERSHIP, no MEMBER under the age of 21 shall possess, consume, accept and/or attempt to acquire any alcoholic beverage while on the club premises, in accordance with all federal, state and local laws, regulations and ordinances.

 

1. 6.       DIAMONDS CABARET expects any TEMPORARY or PERMANENT MEMBER, age 21 or older, to consume their alcoholic beverages in a responsible manner and in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, regulations and ordinances.  This includes a complete prohibition on the sale or transfer of alcohol to any TEMPORARY or PERMANENT MEMBER who is under the age of 21.  The sale of alcohol to any TEMPORARY or PERMANENT MEMBER, regardless of their age, is strictly prohibited.

 

MEMBERSHIP SUSPENSION AND/OR TERMINATION:

Failure to comply with all applicable laws, and the membership criteria, rules, and policies of DIAMONDS CABARET, a PRIVATE CLUB, as explicitly provided in the PRIVATE CLUB MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION AND AGREEMENT may result in the SUSPENSION and/or TERMINATION of your membership.
